ORDERING INFORMATION
To ensure accurate product selection and prompt order fulfillment, customers should provide complete equipment information when ordering replacement compressors, compressor shafts, or replacement parts. Whenever possible, orders should include the manufacturer, model number, serial number, OEM part number, number of cylinders, operating voltage, electrical phase, refrigerant application, and any special factory-installed options or accessories. For semi-hermetic compressors, voltage and phase information are required in addition to the model number. Detailed compressor identification information is available throughout this catalog and in the “How to Order a Compressor” section to assist customers in identifying the proper replacement for their application.

WARRANTY POLICY
National Compressor Exchange warrants its remanufactured and exchange compressors to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment or pickup when operated under normal service conditions. NCE’s obligation under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement, at its option, of any compressor that, upon inspection, is determined to be defective. This warranty applies only to customer accounts that are current and in good standing.

This warranty does not apply to compressors that have been subjected to liquid slugging, improper voltage, contaminated systems, poor system design, improper installation, chemical contamination, abuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, or any operating condition beyond the manufacturer’s intended use. Failure to install an approved suction-line filter drier following a burnout or contaminated system replacement will void this warranty. Warranty claims will also be denied if a compressor is returned open to the atmosphere, contains water or excessive moisture, exhibits internal rust or corrosion, or has been damaged through improper handling or transportation.

National Compressor Exchange assumes no responsibility for labor charges, refrigerant loss, system damage, product loss, downtime, transportation expenses, or any incidental, indirect, or consequential damage resulting from the installation or failure of any compressor supplied.

Warranty claims involving OEM parts supplied by Carrier, Copeland, Trane, York, Dunham-Bush, Worthington, Bitzer, Thermo King, or any other manufacturer remain subject to the respective manufacturer’s warranty policies and final approval. Customers must conta ct the National Compressor Exchange Parts Department prior to returning any warranty item. All required return documentation must be completed before any product is accepted for evaluation. Credit issued for warranty or exchange parts may be reduced for missing or damaged components. Warranty coverage does not apply to preventative maintenance services, routine tune -ups, or repair work performed on screw compressors.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
The proper installation, wiring, commissioning, adjustment, and operation of refrigeration equipment are the sole responsibility of the installing contractor and servicing technician. National Compressor Exchange expressly disclaims all liability for personal injury, property damage, product loss, business interruption, lost profits, or any incidental, indirect, or consequential damage arising from the installation, operation, misuse, or failure of any product supplied.
